practice calling each name and if they sound a bit funny dont call them that name... for instance.... McDuff - a good name in itself but a bit of a mouth full to say when calling a dog... so is norton IMO ...

Good suggestion Bluekats, have been doing that, so the final name is
BANJO, named after our sons first teddy bear, which we still have.

My Sam usally gets called "Shyte Hawk". I was going to suggest this but thought you may be offended. I often call him Shyte Hawk in public. But I dont think the locals understand!

He looks just like mine when he was a little 'un. Enjoy him and be prepared to buy new carpets/furniture etc
