just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I recognise lots of place names etc on here - it's good to be reminded of my old home town...mind you I'm only in North Shields!! (but work in London etc)

Jimmy I was chuffed to bits to find this great site yesterday while Googling for images of South Shields - it's great and makes me feel like I'm finding me roots again.

If you feel like a challenge, come visit the aussie board too -it is basically many of the same people as out here and we could do with some more posters to bump our totals up. It is a closed site because we used to be really bad but we are okay now most of the time and not too fierce, if you are game. Jimmy will let you in if you ask him.

Thing is I use other boards and 20 posts in 2 days in nowt compared to some of the people on there - it's a full time profession for them..some post upwards of 200 per day..sad gits.

Anyway I'm back down to work on Sunday so you'll be rid of uz... was larfing me 'ed off when I saw I went from GEET QUIET to BIG MOUTH in a day

..still LOVE your board dude and thanks to you all for the good memories of my home town....sad moosic plays in background
