Thomas Johnson / Isabella Richardson

Good evening,
Im not quite sure where to start! I am currently tracing my family tree and Im struggling with my Grandad on my fathers side ( My Dads Dad) his name was Thomas Johnson and he was born 30 September 1919. I was lucky enough to have him in my life but sadly he passed away 29th May 2005, and I could really do with his help now I'm doing the family tree
. He never really spoke about his family, all I have managed to find out was that his dads name was thomas johnson and his mums was Isabella Richardson. I believe he had a sister called Margaret, and we believe their mum died when they were young. The story goes that she was a midwife and died from catching TB from a baby that she helped deliver that had TB. My grandad always told me how beautiful south shields was and I saw this for myself when I ran the Great North Run in his honour, the year that we lost him.
I hope someone might just read this and know who I am talking about
