Egner from South Shields and Cleadon.

I am researching my Grand parents at the moment who emigrated from Germany in 1895 and lived and worked in the area until 1955 ish.
John { Johann} Christian Egner ran three butcher shops in S.S. Cleadon and surrounding area. Can anyone remember them or remember the shops either directly or via old photos.
Any info would be interesting.

My Grandfather in the other line a Thomas Baker ran the Anglo Iron Foundry in Tyne Dock which was destroyed in WW2 when my Father and his brother were working making armaments. My Dad's brother was killed.
