can any one tell me the where abouts of my best freind barbara walker who went to stanhope road school in the 70s ,she lived at tyne lane my name is christine

did your lovely family originate from the east riding of yorkshire at all did any of your lovely family come from boldon colliery ?

if its the walkers i am thinking of, they definatly south shields, as i am related to a walker family from that area

There was a Family of Walkers who lived in Ashgrove Avenue Cleadon . . :wink:

My elderly aunt lived on Tyne lane, possibly around 1950, she had a maiden name of Atkinson
But also mentioned the Peters family, any information would be welcomed
