gingell the deans

hi in 1882 my great grandfather william gingell and mother nee mary montgomery both lived at the deans ,they were married at saint marys church any history of the familys and the deans and church

I have a Gazette cutting about St Mary's church, but it is very poor quality

when I was a young un the deans was probs the roughest area in the town by a long way

The Deans ! Rough Area ! - Police dogs used to go around in fours and a cat with two lugs was a tourist !!!!!!!!

I was born on the Deans, as were all my Brothers and Sisters, i was christened at and attended St Marys church from being a young boy until it was demolished, the vicar at that time was known as Mr Hillditch as i remember ( Hope i remembered his name correctly ) !!!, he and his family were lovely caring people . . Fond Memories . . :D
