Wilhemina Ferries 1930s South Shields

Post by letmeknow »

I would like to hear from any relatives of Wilhemina Ferries from South Shields. She lived at 63 East Holborn , South Shields in 1934 . Also any relatives of Gladys Ali and George Armstrong who were witnesses at her marriage in that same year at the Register Office in South Shields. Any information would be greatly appreciated .

I expect you already have the information that on 13th December 1934 Wilhemina Ferries
married Mahomed ALI also known as Mahomed MUSLEH, I'm assuming that Gladys ALI
was probably the sister in law of Mahomed.

Interestingly, a Gladys ALI married a Mohamed ALI 20th Sept. 1934.

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me why you believe that Mahomed Ali was also know as Mohamed Musleh and why you assume that Gladys Ali was probably his sister in law. Cheers

More of a guess than an assumption really. Gladys was originally Gladys ARMSTRONG.
