There have been countless photographs of Uluru, so its hard for publishers too find one that is different and worthy of publication.
And I think this photo is different and also worthy of publication. =D> =D> =D> =D>

I bought a new pocket size Fujifilm camera last week here is what it has as features.
14 megapixels.
Fujinon 10x optical zoom lens.
2.7 lcd.
Dual image stabilization. Say goodbye to blurred images for good with Fujifilm's complete blur system.
Tracking Auto Focus. Track and shoot fast moving subjects easily.
NEW: Face recognition technology & dog/cat detection technology. (what that means you have focused on say a group of people when just as you click the shutter a cat or dog walks into the picture it will automatically bring it into focus as well.

Not bad for 500 dollars.

 I had to laugh when I read that cos I really did have a good eye - there was a bandage on the other one when I posted the last message. Thats true.

I have enjoyed looking at all the photos posted - I don't think I'll be entering this months competition though - Night time photography is too technical for me - so far :D

 You are a step ahead of me, I don't seem to be able to manage even with daytime photography.
A couple of weeks ago, I went out with my sister one day, to photograph the old house my father lived in as a child. Then earlier this week, when i went to download the photos onto my computer, they weren't there.
Nothing was in there-except 3 shots of the interior of a Dick smith shop.
I know i never took them!!
But everyone else in the house denies any knowledge of them, or of deleting my photos, or of using my camera.
It is one of life's mysteries, i guess, a bit like the empty packets that turn up in the pantry but no one has eaten the contents.

I am not best pleased to have lost my photos though-I travelled a fair way to get them. :?

Oh and blue-good shot of the rock.

Thanks Anna. Much appreciated you have made me very happy as I now have an entry in this months competition.
I bought a Tripod yesterday and if the rain will go away I was hoping to get one later this month.

I don't remember it, but its a cracker of a shot even if it hasn't got two legs and any feathers on it.

Went to Melbourne to see The Jersey Boys (Story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons).....it was awesome! So on the way in, decided to take some 'night' shots for the fun of adding it to this thread 8)
