Remove the claw meat and halve the tail, make a dip of seafood sauce of mayonaise, tomato puree and tabasco sauce to taste, serve with a dash of lemon and a nice cold Chardonnay.

Thats very nice but before making any judgment I would like a free sample.

That looks yummy Pilot but I would just add a little whipped cream to that sauce :)

BUTTERNUT SQUASH SOUP WITH HOME MADE BREAD ROLLS

2 medium carrots
2medium potatoes
medium onion
1 butternut squash
bit of chilli (optional)
garlic (optional)
Pint of chicken stock
1oz, 25g butter

roughly chop vegetables

Image

place veg and butter in a pan and fry for 5 mins or so to soften and get a bit of colour, add the stock so it just covers the veg

Image

bring to the boil then simmer for roughly 30 mins or till veg is soft and cooked through. Then blend veg till it is nice and creamy

Bread Rolls

650g strong white bread flour
2 tsp salt
1tsp sugar
15g butter or 1 tbsp vegetable oil
7g packet of easy bake yeast
14fl oz water (2 parts cold, 1 part boiling

Image

put everything in a bowl and mix, rub in butter or add oil. Add the warm water to make a soft dough

Image

Knead for 10 mins on a warm floured surface

Image

divide into equal sized rolls and place on a warm baking sheet. Cover and leave to rise for 30 mins or until dough doubles in size

Image

place in the centre of a pre heated oven at 230deg C or gas mark 8, bake for 15 mins

serve and enjoy. I garnish with fresh cream and a sprig of parsley
