The mother was hit by a car and someone found the baby.. angel... her arm was broken.. the person who was looking after it put a sling on it but didnt take it to the vet until much later on so it was too late by then to fix it properly.... some people are just morons...

............................

Ted,... i was watching a show yesterday about Stupid Americans...

For some unknown reason they are able to buy and keep tigers, lions, bears etc etc... they buy them as cubs and then within a year they are too big to keep inside... well durrrr!!!

They are then put in small pens and live in stress until they d*e... one guy was on his 3rd bear and which lived in something that can only be described as a something not much bigger than a bird cage.... he couldnt understand why the bears kept dying... he sounded as if he was half retarded too...

Another family had a tiger which got too big for inside the house as well so they kept it in a Horse Float... can you believe it?

Why there isn’t laws in these American states is beyond me... maybe they are all just slack jawed hillbilly’s who think that they can do what they want when they want and without any consequences......

I am all for freedom of choice in lots of things, but there are some animals that it should be illegal to own privately.
I would have thought tigers and such were good examples.
Or at the very least, it should be illegal to keep those animals in cruel conditions.

I can't understand why whoever found the koala did not take her to a vet. That's another animal that isn't a 'pet'. Any vet would have had got right help for her straight away. You do have to wonder about some people!

Its no excuse. But maybe those who don't take them to the vet think that the vet will charge them a big fee for services rended.

Apologies for the lateness of this, but after much consideration I have decided that Freon's Roos deserve to win this one, they suggested new life to me, very evocative of the arrival of our spring season in the northern hemisphere. I was close to choosing one of Bri's birds which was a technically excellent shot, or Globals pair of frogs which amused me greatly.

But on balance the mammal marsupials win this one.

So congratulations to Freon, can you arrange to send me a large copy of your picture (around 1024 px wide) to the usual email address
south-shields(at)blueyonder(dot)co(dot)uk

Can you also help me a bit to fill out the script, some details of where and when you took the picture, a little about the camera, any settings that you might know, and a wee bit about yourself (especially how you would like to be described).

If I can have these by Friday PM I'll get the picture posted for Saturday.

Sorry I wasn't able to do this yesterday, I managed to kill my PC and it refused to boot, had a frustrating day diagnosing what I'd done wrong and putting it right today.

I think that this particular competition generated the most interest, and the most number of entries since the contests inception: "So Well Done Everyone". =D> =D> =D> =D>

To post a photo on here in the past I have used Anna and Bri which I am more than grateful for their help which was very much appreciated.
If you could send me an email I will then have your address as I lost most of my addresses when I did a full system recovery including yours.
