Thats how they are supposed to be installed.
If England is square, it's just because I don't live there anymore.

On the boards here, Betty is probably my nearest neighbour.

At the most an hours drive away.

If you look at some of the pictures I posted from my back yard, looking out over the lake is the USA.

Just to make you jealous, Graceland is just a hard days drive from here.

Beachbitch loves Elvis too.

Yes we did.
I was expecting it to be a total rip off.
It was great.
Graceland itself is a nice place, but nothing like the mansions the superstars have now.
The tour guides talk about Elvis in hushed tones like he was the second coming, but apart from that it was fabulous.
The house was exactly the way he had furnished it.
s**g carpets.
Tacky furniture.
Carpeted walls.
Mirror tiles on some ceilings.
Everything you would have wanted in them days but wouldn't give house room nowadays.
His two planes were in the compound, his cars, guns, stage outfits, gold records, honorary police badges and all kinds of other stuff was on display.
I like Elvis but to some of the people who were on the tour with us, he was almost a god.
I even saw a mature grown man crying over his gravesite which is in Graceland.
Something a true Elvis fan should do once in a lifetime.

I totaly agree Beechy ,some fans are riduculous, and i find it embaressing to hear and see fans of his, going on the way they do.
I supose Graceland is now stuck in a time warp , taking you back to the days when Elvis lived there , the Deco and furnishing would be so out of place by todays standards ,i think i would have a giggle if i walked round it today :D
But i supose it wouldnt be the same if they changed any of it ,fans want to see how Elvis lived ,i would LOVE to go ..
I dont supose you have any photos ,you could share with us .. :D
