They truly are. Anna is right in that they would make a great calendar. What a fantastic record of your year, the good times and the hard times.

fenella, I want you to think about something. Seriously.
The comp is on, lots of people enter their pictures and we all have a look.
In fact we all end up having several looks because we open the thread quite a few times in order to see the new posts, and we end up scrolling through a lot of the others again.
Then curly announces a winner.
What happens next?
He pops it on one of his blog boards.
Do you ever go to check out the winning entry on the blog board? I rarely do.
Once the winner is announced, that's it for me.
Maybe the winner himself (or herself) goes to check out how their entry stacks up etc on the blog, but I bet at least 70% of us in here don't.
So... the real bit that counts is getting your photo exposed in this thread-that is probably where it will get the most views.

And look at a lot of Blue's pics above. Excellent, hey? yet I think only one of them ever actually won.
Your day will come if you keep entering. :D

An excellent array there, Blue! Really top notch! =D> I agree totally
with Anna. They would make for a lovely calendar.

I really like yours too, Anna, especially the one of the sun peeking
through the clouds! =D>
