Plenty time to get your cameras out and get your entries in. Please post them in this thread.

Re: Photo competition ending Sunday 5th December
OK, I will start the ball rolling.
With this photo I am going for subject matter rather than the technical side of photography.eg shutter speeds and exposures etc
With the recent heatwave we have been having in Australia, last Sunday there was no better place to be than on the beach.
It was nice to see that even at the 'grown up' ages of 11 and 14 our two girls can still 'play'

The rocks were also popular with shell collectors and people making their way to the point for a spot of fishing or diving

Lovely shots =D> =D> =D> =D> and by the look of the terrain behind the rocks photo you could expect to see the native bush life also using the beach if you got up early enough in the mornings.
How was a totally inorganic world able to create organic life? Answer it couldn't and didn't

Thanks Anna
There is houses up amongst those trees. They are asking for fire trouble but at the same time they are on a prime bit of land that overlooks the beach
Funny you should say that Global because just when we were all packed up a whopping big goanna was making its way along the beach.Globalmyths wrote:Lovely shots =D> =D> =D> =D> and by the look of the terrain behind the rocks photo you could expect to see the native bush life also using the beach if you got up early enough in the mornings.

There will be a setting on the camera's menu somewhere which will allow you to turn it off.

Okey Dokey, move over BM...I am now going to also put up pics along the NSW coast
These 3 pics below are from Coffs Harbour I took today. There are so many different aspects to that shoreline, it's amazing.

Re: Photo competition ending Sunday 5th December
I got my photos on disc but now my computer wont play them. So I can't send them so you will just have to judge my entrants in absentia. And believe me when I say they would have won first prize. And duly accord me the Laurals they rightlyt deserve and merit.

Re: Photo competition ending Sunday 5th December

I have been enjoying them, anyway. There are some great ones there!!
But you are right in that it has been fairly quiet-I think the comp is now only every fortnight instead of weekly?
