Hi Vince, nice photo is it a lake? And are any of the islands inhabited by the human species?

Hi Global, That is actually a photo from the Lake District, UK. The photo was taken from a surrounding mountain. You can drive up and there is a small opening in the woodland to see across the whole of Derwentwater. An amazing place, I think im due another trip there this year ! :D :D

Theres a certain eerieness to your photo captain beefheart wich i think makes it stand out. I like it :D I took this photo of the ferry landing at dusk, with a compact digital. Very happy with the outcome, but i think i should have waited for the ferry to stop first. :)

Last month you saw the same area but with the leaves absent from the trees it took me ages to glue them all back on. :^o :^o

When the trees in the middle of the road get their red-pink flowers on in summer I will take another photo,
then when the leaves are getting ready to fall I will take another photo then I will have all four seasons photographed.

Some do Anna not sure about this area as I was in hospital up to Christmas eve and never got down to the shopping centre.
