guess i,ll tell you, know one will guess anyway.its a sculpture on the seafront over looking morecombe bay.
its called venus and cupid,
it,s a tribute to those lost at sea and i guess its mainly a gesture to all the 20 or so cocklers that lost their lives in the bay a few years ago.
the surface is made up of mosaic of small tiles.

What an amazing looking owl. :D So many textures gives it an interesting quality. What was some of the textiles used for the making of it, Northern? The top of the head looks like corduroy.

This morning I took a photo of a baby praying in a supermarket trolly in Count Down store which used to be Woolworths.
It will be my entry when it arrives.
