guess i,ll tell you,know one will guess anyway.its a sculpture on the seafront over looking morecombe bay.
its called venus and cupid,
it,s a tribute to those lost at sea and i guess its mainly a gesture to all the 20 or so cocklers that lost their lives in the bay a few years ago.
the surface is made up of mosaic of small tiles.

What an amazing looking owl. :D So many textures gives it an interesting quality. What was some of the textiles used for the making of it, Northern? The top of the head looks like corduroy.

here is my photo of the week ..my Daughter,s Cake :lol: :lol:
iceing a sponge cake thats still hot , just doesnt work :lol:
but she said she did it that way for the effect :^o
and i had to eat a peice to keep her happy :mrgreen:

Not got a clue what the makings of it are

we just saw it and thought it would make a good photo

i took one of a white owl as well, i shall upload it.

but not for this competition.

Both owl photo's was taken on my TECHNIKA SH- A366 Digital camera x 10 mega pixles

This morning I took a photo of a baby praying in a supermarket trolly in Count Down store which used to be Woolworths.
It will be my entry when it arrives.
