took this about 7am saterday morning at the top of gummers howe,which is a very big hill above lake windermere
thats fog sitting over the top of the lake,just a shame i didnt have the knowledge to take a more detailed pic :oops:
and before you start mr smith..with your "magic photo time telling machine"i havnt set the time and date on my new little camera .

It's a funny thing, before I scrolled through and saw them all, I was thinking that the area reminded me a bit of when Danet and I went on our hot air balloon ride. It is going back a few years ago now-it was the first time we met, after having been on a message board for a while together. There was that same misty atmosphere over the Yarra valley that morning.

excellent bambie...

my fav was the balloon shot although it didnt show up on my computer properly as it was too big and i couldnt see one side of it... i resized it twice... not sure if anyone else is having the same problem or not??

apart from being in a plane the only time i've been above clouds like that was once when we were down in tasmania up on the mountain at Hobart :)

Absolutely! Very much the same type of view when we went straight up 5,000 feet in the air 8)
I had been on a hot air balloon ride a few years earlier, but never quite as high as the one we went on that day, Sherri :shock: I remember looking over and seeing Port Phillip Bay.....it was amazing! Maybe you can put some of them pics up here to share, if you can find them somewhere in your files? :D

Boo, you at the lakes on saturday morning.

clare and i stayed at the Waterhead Hotel in Ambleside, we was there for 4 days.

If i'd have known you was comming to the lakes we could have had a few bevvies.
Then you would have met clare and seen our brand new BMWx5 :D
