Spring is near, and the wattles have bloomed, here is the golden wattle tree reflecting in the lake on this glorious day-( also known as the floral emblem of Australia ) 8)

Thanx Party Girl 8) It took me 2 days to finally get it....you see, yesterday and today we had this big yellow ball in the sky called a sun that finally showed itself after a very dark cold bout of greyness and wetness
So yesterday, I see the wattle reflecting in the water and think...oh that would make a nice photo....so my camera battery was flat, then we had visitors, then we had to go out...then it was night.....
Round two...today....I go out to take a few snaps.....and a car comes up the driveway...drop in visitors
So then, later, I sneak out the back, walk on wet squelching grass, to get some photos before getting annoyed or distracted again! But the sun disappeared behind a big cloud  so I am waiting...waiting...waiting....then finally, out comes the sun and voila....finally got my photo :D :D :D

I have actually used the new registry office and they seem to be a lot more efficient than the old place. I must say though I think the new building is crap, I much more prefer the old building but it was damp so I was told and thats why they moved. I dont really care much for new builds, I much prefer old ones which are always full of character where as I find new builds just boxy and convienient.

cheers

Bri

I haven't had much time to sort out much in the way
of photos. I have taken quite a few but the computer
I'm using is crap, so I am posting this one for now.

It looks more like a church.
was the photographer on a slight lean as if the road is going uphill slightly?

Well after a long thought and careful consideration I have decided that I'd like to use Tedster's landscape here (just hoping he has a larger copy somewhere). Some good entries this week made it a tough decision for me, but you can tell that Tedster's picture has been well thought out for it's composition and required some effort to get in the right position to take the shot.
