Popular north east Blues & Soul band Shake Ya Tailfeather are to headline the evenings special event. After being approached by the event organiser Peter Murray the lads from Shake Ya Tailfeather jumped at the chance to raise awareness of such an important ongoing concern! Although the band will be without regular singer, television & theatre star Dale Meeks, the band knew they still had to play and help such a great cause. In the absence of Mr Meeks, the band will be joined by guest vocalist Rosie Winter as well as some well known music stars! Who will those stars be? According to Tailfeather bass player Iain Cunningham that’s a surprise for the night, “The guests we have will be a nice surprise for the audience on the night and will help make the event even greater” Guitarist Wayne Miller also added “We have come to know a lot of great local musicians over the years and some local legends too! So we tried our best to get a couple of those to join us on the 11th and help us support Love Music, Hate Racism” So with regular front man Dale Meeks on tour in the hit musical Chicago, Dale and the band new they could not miss out on a chance to play there blues on such a special night. So Shake Ya Tailfeather will be hitting the right note for the right cause on April 11th !
