Well what a different a few years makes!!!!

The history of South Shields Football Club, The Mariners, continues.

Please feel free to use this forum to organise trips, meet up at pubs before home and away games, post old and recent photos etc.

Hopefully leading up to a possible Wembley appearance this place will help everyone get a bit organised.

All of the good work achieved by both the club site and twitter is appreciated at Sanddancers.

Any posts that are not in the interest of South Shields Football Club will be deleted because we are never going to Gateshead again!!!!!!

Onwards and Upwards and Always Ready.

There is a story in the Gazette online about the club working with the local council to find a site for a possible £10 million new ground 8) The owner certainly has big plans for the future.

I would, my daughter lives a few stops away on the line to Wembley, but we will be in Mallorca when the final is on, my son who lives in Jersey will be going if they make it.

Shields made it 29 wins in a row last night despite being one goal and one man down at half time, they came back to win 1-2 playing the last 10 mins with just 9 men after Ramsey broke his leg and all 3 subs were already on. It looks as if the league will be decided away to north shields on 8th April. North Shields are 8 points clear but South Shields have 3 games in hand.
