Any supporter or reader with knowledge of potential club sponsors, and also possible sources of donations is urged to help the cause in view of the forthcoming season's situation, of which a statement can be anticipated. The contact person is club chairman Gary Crutwell 07947 480054, who would be most grateful for much hoped for such help. In the current economic situation many small clubs are finding finances squeezed by problems in the sponsorship community, with company profit margins badly affected, staff laid off or experiencing reduced work patterns and sales opportunities and markets diminished as direct results. Hence, this invitation to all who could and will help SSFC with financial assistance in the manners requested. In common as said with many clubs, members of the general public and the business community can help matters. Self help is also a matter to be much encouraged, and all supporters association members and the public can indeed help with involvement in the club's weekly cash draw scheme. These ticket revenues directly help the club's team budget, and more sales are wanted to increase the amount of cash available each week. Therefore, both buyers and sellers are urged to please come forward, to actively help the club through what will be a testing season. Three prizes of £100, £30 and £20 are on offer each week, tickets cost £1 each, and are available if required in books of five, and the draw is made every Sunday evening. Enquiries with contact details are much welcomed please to Bob Scott 07920 554377, with most sincere thanks in appreciation for such help and public spiritedness.
We ask all with a positive interest in the welfare and promotion of the club through the means of sponsorships, donations and weekly cash draw assistance to please help as possible, for which the club will be most sincerely grateful, thank you indeed.
