I see Chester-le-Street have put their keeper Josh Carmichael on the transfer list-we are going to be down to one keeper for a while so perhaps Shields could make an offer.He's a Shields lad as well (or Jarrow at least) so might be keen.

I don't honestly see the need for another keeper at the club??? With Cat injured it leaves us with 1 keeper but what you have to remember is the other night was Cats first game since niki signed. Many teams in n/l do not name a 2nd keeper on bench so the bridge of another keeper should be crossed if or when required in my opinion. Keep Niki fit and results will come back after this tricky patch we in at moment

anyone out there ever heard of a dislocated shoulder going back in and the injured party living happy ever after?

am hearing some horror stories, surely somebody has something positive to say aboot this kind of injury.

also interesting to hear about the possibility/need to signing another keeper. as much as i would like to stick with Nikki til am fit again, that may be a month or so yet! and we daint want to get caught oot with the possibility of 8 games in the next 4 weeks! as long as whoever signs knows that they will be battling it oot with Nikki for a seat on the bench when am fit, as that 8 mins of being in the starting line up against shildon (and me clean sheet) has whetted me already rampaging appetite for getting back in the side. seriously tho, a think am the only keeper who ever gets injured anyway!
