Channel hopping the other night I found a programme on Artsworld (267) and it started with JCs concert at San Quinten prison back in the early seventies and then carried on with a documentary about him.

It was great, good sounds all night.

I seen an early film of Johnny Cash a few weeks ago called Door To Door Maniac, it was one the worst films I've seen, Ron Howard (Cunningham in Happy days) played the little boy.

Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Hank Williams are the only three musicians to be inducted into both the country and rock and roll hall of fame, and Johnny Cash and Hank Williams are the only two songwriters to have gone into gone into both for their songwriting.

His real name is J R, he called himself John when joined the airforce and they would'nt accept it as a name.

It's one of my favourite movies Brian.

I don't know alot about JC, but I still have all my Mams Elvis stuff.

Blue Hawai, G.I.Blues, Jailhouse Rock, Love me Tender, Girls, Girls, Girls, Loving You, nd King Creole, all on video.

They never get watched - the just sit in their boxes, gathering dust.

Note that this is only my opinion and its open to verification.

But it looks as if the majority of the posters had said that they preferred Johny Cash to Elvis.

So I declare Johny Cash to be the winner of this poll.

But if it is declared to be a tie I will exercise my right to use my casting vote and declare a boy named Sue to be the winner.
