denis and memor. You are both wrong! My brother was employed in the shipyards. He said they didnt do any work! He said they used to go in and drink tea while playing cards. This was on nightshift. But maybe dayshift was different?

Brighams had a good Sunday League team in the mid 60s. I remember their matches against Club 21 at the Bents Park.

I vaguely remember having bottom cleaned by Mama Maplin in the fifties.
