The Table Top

Post by Sivamdrof » Tue Nov 15, 2011 5:24 pm

Does anyone remember "The Table Top"?
It was a big slab of concrete near St.Hildas School and the kids played on it.
Anyone know what it was originally?

Re The table Top I played on it for years and on ths spare ground next to the table top we played cricket and football sometimes with the fire men from the fire station The 3 Storey building was St Hildas youth club. I do not know what its previous use was but when we first entered the building we found 2 snooker tables. I lived in Charlotte Street.
