HADDOCK FAMILY 23 MOFFETT STREET 1911 CENSUS

Hi, My g.g. grandfather George Haddock, 49, coal hewer, lived at 23 Moffett Street with his wife Elizabeth (Armstrong) Haddock,42 - Elizabeth ran a "fried fish business" at the shop at this address. The children were:

"George Haddock, 22, single, – Coal Miner, Putter.
Elizabeth Haddock, 19, married – helps with fish business. No children.
James Haddock, 15, Coal Miner – Driver – Underground.
Mary Haddock, 17, – helps with fish business.
Katie Haddock, 14
John Haddock, 5.
May Haddock, 8.
William Haddock, 2.
Thomas Seatory, Grandson, 3.
James Smith, 22, Boarder, Coal Miner, Putter.
Dorothy (Haddock) Seatory, 23, married, married for 4 years
John James Seatory, 23, married, son-in-law. Corporation Labourer. (Visitors)"

Annie Poulson? filled in the Census form.


I would love to know if anyone has any further information on this shop or the family.

theres a photoraphs shop on westoe road just after erskine road with the name haddock painted on the gable end.
zip me up in my oilskins and jumper.
no more down the docks i'll be seen.
just tell me old shipmates.
i'm taking a trip mates.
and i'll see them on fiddler' green.
