Hi Folks. Does anyone know where South Palmerston Street is or was..? I am helping a relative track down some family history/roots and would love to know where it is/was and if anything is now in its place etc..?

Put NE33 5HX into Google Maps and that is where South Palmerston Street used to be.

There are some pictures of South Palmerston Street on the boards. My mother lived there up until it was demolished in the early eighties.

My grandparents lived in 347 South Palmerston Street in 1899/1901. My Grandfather was a boot and shoe repairer for the Co/op. I would love and photos or information. Thank you
