universal potteries

Post by maverick » Thu Nov 27, 2008 5:54 pm

Does anybody remember Universal Potteries, behind Osborne Avenue, (formerly a laundry) owned by Percy Bolt.
I used to work there in the sixties and would like to hear from any workers from that time. I would also love to see some pictures of the potteries for the book that I am writing.

yes they were behind Lord Street. I used to buy my pasties from the shop that was on the corner of Lord street, I survived.
