Wooden Slipway at Littlehaven

Post by pbryd » Mon Mar 30, 2009 3:27 pm

I thought i'd show this pic of the wood structure leading into the sea at the (Littlehaven???) beach.

I'm sure I've read on these forums it was used for hauling sea planes up the beach to hangers in the 'old days'

Can someone confirm or correct this?

Cheers Pilot, the family didn't believe me when I said it was used for sea planes.
