"Comedy legend Sir Ken Dodd has died aged 90, just two days after getting married, his publicist has announced."

i suppose you are going to tell me it wasn't suicide by over excitement.

I think getting married when he must of known time was running out probably tied up a lot of loose ends.
I voted leave

I saw him in the 80's here in Brighton. He was supposed to finish at 10pm but went on till 11.45.

Next morning my throat hurt from laughing.

One of the funniest comedians ever.

Inventions
The man who invented cat's eyes got the idea when he saw a cat facing him in the road. If the cat had been facing the other way, he'd have invented a pencil sharpener.. Ken Dodd

I seem to remember his death being reported a few weeks ago when he first went to hospital. He was pleased tell us that in was untrue, but now he has really gone. He was a genuinely mad-cap comic who had a decent singing voice too. I'm really sorry that he has gone, but glad at least that he had a long and good life. =D> =D> =D>

Yes, dear old Ken and his Diddy Men will be sadly missed. He was a fun part of an English childhood in the 60's and 70's, and then spent the rest of his life sticking it to the tax man! Good for him.

"How tickled I am!" :D
The Wild Witch-Wizard of Whiteleas
Was a changeling's son from Mars.
He learnt his songs
From the Cosmic Throngs
And played them on a Fender guitar - Oh yeah.
