Halloween didnt start in America The same as religion didnt start in Australia but i have to put up with
religious Dicks knocking on my door anytime of the year Have to put up with Christmas and Easter which is
retail driven
cheers
That's right Freon it didn't start in America but it's bigger than Ben Hur there and our take up of has been from US influence not Pom or European.
Nappies & Politicians should be changed often. Both for the same reason.
I don't have an attitude I have a personality you can't handle.

What beachy has to realise is the aussies on this board are all grumpy oldies speak for yourself yah old boiler, and we didn't have this stuff going on when we were young.

Don't you worry, I have friends in US & I've seen the scenes on FB. It looks like mobs out in the streets. I guess the kids are having a good time but gnads is right, the retail section is pushing it here for all they are worth & it is catching on. I went out for dinner but as far as I know, we had not a visitor. :D

A daughter though lives in a young area & had about 20. She was over it by visitor 12.

I do prefer it the way my grandkids did it.
They went to organised events at the shopping centre or cheese factory.

Here's my grandson aged 2. He said it was the best day of his life.
Was given a map at the shopping centre & followed it to 15 shops for a treat from each.
I don't know what the character is but apparently it is someone famous in kidworld.

And granddaughter aged 3. She is on the right & her little boyfriend is on the left as they collect sweets.

They were at the cheese factory. She ate the lot there, doubt she will have had any dinner tonight.

Max, zip those lips. You'd have to be one of the oldest & grumpiest of the lot-by a long shot.

Been wondering where you got to lately but you're back for Halloween. Say no more
