Why on earth would a pawn shop need to be open for 24 hours a day!!
You wouldn't think they would get enough business in the wee small hours to make it economical.
Even our local supermarkets shut between midnight and 7am. And you need food more than a pawn shop!!

Maybe we need to get the wheel owners to pop into Melbourne (or Japan, more like), give a few hints on how to keep a wheel moving.

The wee small hours in Vegas is when you run out of money and you need to get back to the tables because you just know your luck is going to change.

Over here, our gamblers use ATMs. :D

I think they had to pass a law or something so they weren't able to be located inside, right next to the machines.
Apparently Aust has more pokies per head of pop than anywhere else.

Lot of money lost on them.

That's a very famous Pawn Shop. It has its own TV show.

If you get the History Channel in AUS, then watch the show called "Pawn Stars". It is very interesting.

If you don't get the History channel, you can watch episodes here: http://www.history.com/shows/pawn-stars.

Freon - Was there a charge to tour the store? I've never been in it before, but I will the next time I go to Vegas.

Yes, we get Pawn Stars here. I haven't actually watched it and didn't know that was THE shop. :D

I still think a 24 hour pawn shop is overdoing it. :D
Seems odd they would charge people to go in though-isn't that the point of a pawn store, that the person is low on cash?
