Enjoyed seeing your photos.
I have a daughter who is or has been in vegas over the last few days ( thought it was going to be NY but sadly she would have missed seeing whip) and today they are off to the grand Canyon. Then NY in a few days time.
She said she likes Las Vegas. They didn't like San Francisco though, said it was dirty and full of beggars.

My grandson went to Las Vegas last Sunday for a short visit, not sure which day he's back but he's due
back at work next Monday. I believe it's his second visit there.

Hey Mr. Whip have a look at these photos as they give proof to Freon's claim he went to Vegas.

Now why can you not offer photographic evidence for your claims like a photo of the falling ball
that heralds the New Year in Times Square, New York..

I claim I went to the loo this morning and dumped my lot.
Do you believe it ? or maybe I lied. Would you like photographic evidence.

Hold on there a cotton picking second, I just sneezed spraying it all over.
Quick where is the camera for photographic proof.

Get real lad.

Sherri it's an American Dance Troup "Jabbawockeez" ... they will be performing there ... that's their billboard

The name is taken either from a Monty Python movie .... JabbaWocky

or from Lewis Carols nonsense poem ...

Jabberwocky

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought–
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came wiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

I know the poem, gnads, which is what got me interested in the name. I didn't realize there was an American dance troupe called that, so thanks for the info. Thought it must be the name of a group of shops and wondered what they were selling. :D
