my daughter.

Post by siam sam »

she came today to tidy up my garden. i went out and got some fresh orange juice and crisps for her, she graftered all day then went home. i got a phone call from her an hour later asking if i could lend her twenty pounds i said yes, when she came to pick the money up i gave her forty pounds and told her i did not want it back, now that is what i call family she is a lovely girl and has two children a girl and boy my grand children she takes after her mother who played for redwell school netball team same time as mr smith's sister. its nice to know your kids look after you when you're old and past it. look after them if you can, after all you brought them into the world. i have two sons and two daughters, my daughters are my life for me they are daddies girls i have been blessed with caring children. goodnight to all the board members.
zip me up in my oilskins and jumper.
no more down the docks i'll be seen.
just tell me old shipmates.
i'm taking a trip mates.
and i'll see them on fiddler' green.

A nice story Sam. I am sure your daughter loves you loads. My dad passed away nearly 40 years ago and there's not a day goes by that I don't remember him with love and affection.

I am eternally grateful that my children are financially secure.
They at least do not have to beg or borrow money.

Of course it is your choice, I never said differently.
'' Nasty Cornish pasty '' Ho ho he he and there is me not even Cornish.

Well I guess I will not have to borrow the money to buy one either, unlike others.

Glad to hear your daughter did that work for you, siam sam. I am sure all your children love you every bit as much as you love them. You sound like a great father. :D

she finished the task today, the weather is nice and hot so i will go in the garden and watch the sunderland air show with a few beers. would have a barbie but being alone it is not worth the bother, just bang a pizza in the oven and a salad to go with it. can't get a decent cornish pasty up here, or sealed orders as we called them when i was at sea. because you never knew what was in them. a nice weekend to all.

was going to trim the ivy back on the garage but found a nesting black bird with chicks in the nest, so will have to wait till the family moves out. but i will leave their habitat untouched so they can return next year.
