Who needs multi mega pixels?

Post by Mr Smith » Sun Jun 16, 2013 11:23 am

These two photos were taken about an hour ago on an old Minolta Dimage 5 digital camera with a maximum resolution size of 3.3 mega pixels. Considering that, I don't think they are bad photos at all; quality wise :)

I think they are absolutely beautiful.
Don't listen to andy. He has forgotten about your experience of having photos posted on the net pinched without permission.
When someone takes quality photos, that can happen. Gtibri probably needs to put that secret code or whatever it is in his, too.

Sherri, no one in their right mind takes any notice of what Andy says. :D

He's only annoyed because I didn't include a photo of "The Groyne" :D

me too. The weather was a bit dreary today.

But on the plus side, my Vietnamese mint is growing a treat. First thing I haven't killed. The stuff loves water. :D

Gorgeous flower photos, I feel better looking at them too, the weather being so damp and cold and dreary here in my part of Oz.

I recall when I met Sherri 9 years ago I think, we went on a balloon ride 5000 ft up in the air over the Yarra Valley, and her 2 mega pixel camera took the most amazing beautiful landscape photos, and I bet those earlier digi cameras with less mega pixels taking up space, had larger processors.
My old kodak 4 mp camera took some great photos too, and I might get some new batteries for it, and use it for fun, and take photos to compare, just like Mr. Smith did 8)

And she said "but dad I can't swim all the way to the lighthouse from here". And he said in Geordie accent "I bet Mr. Angry a tenner that you could".

Two lovely photo Mr. Smith.

Here's another shot taken six years ago on the same 3.3 Mega Pixel camera but not taken at it's highest resolution.

Good photo Mr Smith again proving that it's not always the tools you use, but how you use them. :D
