I spoke to Curly a few weeks back and he was having his house made ready with adaptations so that he could look after his wife at home. He was getting a lot of help from local organisations like Cancer Connections and he and the children were doing OK.

Understand from his daily pictures blog that his wife is staying at her parents house so they can help him in caring for her,it appears that she is not as poorly as she was in hospital, but at the end of the day she has a terminal illness.Needless to say them and the children are in everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Tassie's great.
A real wilderness feel about it in a lot of areas.
And not too hot and humid. :D

How would you know sherri…

All you do is bobble around the ocean lazing about in their spa that the previous 100 people have taken a pea in…

and I was reading recently…. Most gastro outbreaks come from public pools and spa’s… in other words.. peoples poos etc are getting into the pools because they don’t wipe their butts!!!!

So have a think about that next time you are lulling about in the pool in your pollution driven tugboat ..

I have only been on 2 short cruises in my whole life, Blue. :D
And both times I tried the spa, it was first thing in the morning, after it had been cleaned out. So we were the first in.
And no, I didn't!!
Our last holiday was around New Zealand and that was by public transport and coach.

G'day Kitten... weather up here is magic at the moment.

The mud crabs are running big time after the recent floods

if your son lives in an area near & up the coast a bit could be worth a try
putting in a few pots.

re: Curly's wife .... was wondering but thought he would post something in here
in his own good time ...........

wish him & his family all the best in such a stressful time.
Nappies & Politicians should be changed often. Both for the same reason.
I don't have an attitude I have a personality you can't handle.

Thanks Sherri, Bluey let me know if your coming again and we will
have to catch up, that would be good..
Gnads Son lives in Gympie so that is where I am going, but Friends live in Gladstone
and they want me to stay with them too for awhile, sure wish Kassie was still here :-(
I have very cool clothes to take so I don't over heat..

Blue Tassie is the best. Have a few tins of Cascade for me.

I didn't know about Mrs Curly thanks for putting me in the picture.
I always value Pilots wit and input

Hi Kitten, and thanks for the updates.
How was a totally inorganic world able to create organic life? Answer it couldn't and didn't

Hi Kitten, hope you have a lovely time in Qld which I am sure you will.
I haven't been to Tasmania yet, and have it in my sights, on my mind's wishful list of things to do, places to see :D

Thanks everyone, for the update on Curly and his wife & family, I do hope for the best for them all :old_rose:
