Well, I've started my liver detox diet if anyone wants to know. :D
what are you "detoxing" from?

are you a big drinker or something?

if you are eating a healthy diet wouldn't that do the same thing without drinking ghastly awful things?
Water and lemon juice isn't ghastly, awful. Just not the same as coffee, that's all. :D Got a glass of it beside me as I type.
No I am not a huge drinker or anything. It is mainly to cut out all artificial colours, flavours, and the effects of chemicals on the system.
I think basically, it is a healthy diet ie 5 salad ingredients and a can of tuna for lunch, 5-7 vegies and small serve of steamed chicken or whatever for dinner. No gluten, red meat, dairy, fast food, coffee, tea, alcohol. Plus some supplements that better be doing some good as they cost enough.

The good thing about it, champ, is I have finally found a use for some of the lemons on the tree, instead of just having to throw so many away. :D

Sherri we lives of excess not of lacking

so give the supplements the flick ... you should get enough from

what you eat going by what you described was on your menu

unless you have a condition requiring supplements e.g. thyroid, iron deficiency or have to take
a fluid pill therefore requiring calcium/Vit B replacement you don't need vitamins etc.

They are more expensive than prescription medications.
Nappies & Politicians should be changed often. Both for the same reason.

Well done JJ =D> =D>

I've been going good too....
8th March 75.5kg
Today 13th March 75kg
I haven't lost much on the scales but I have lost cm's
Half hour at gym on treadmill stepping it out (3 klm's) then walk to work (3 klm's) = 6 kilometer walk per da
That combined with no beer and good food makes for a happy me :D

Hi BM, so far, so good as far as the diet goes. I am missing bread though. I keep thinking.. boy, I wouldn't mind a slice of toast and vegemite. :?
Especially since I bought a bread machine and when I use it, out comes a nice, crusty loaf.
For exercise. Well, I spent a couple of hours in the pool the last few days, just floating back and forth. I am hoping that counts.
No idea of how the weight is going, will have to check on that one.

I'm hanging in there with no change thank goodness. I have the society wedding of the year (tongue in cheek) to go to on Saturday and would hate it if I couldn't get the outfit on.

Oh wow Gnads =D> =D>
That is fantastic, well done, and yes, you are a inspiration, :D as I am being good, (I know because of the school's 50th anniversary is coming up too)...but I have lost....since last Thursday, 2 kgs 8) I am so wrapt!
No bread at all, definitely less coffee, using stevia instead of sugar. I haven't done anything as far as walking or exercising yet, just madly running around being in the committee for the College's golden anniversary celebration.
At Tuesday nights meeting, there is white and red wine for grabs with munchies (complimentary)....and I stuck to water only (that gotta hurt eh!) So that is where I am at, so happy I lost a bit so I am not so puffy. hehe

You are doing brilliant Gnads, an inspiration for all

and so is everyone else.

Danet 2kg in one week is great - keep it up.

I've done everything right for this wedding and now gone and cracked a fingernail. Looks as though I'll have to get the super glue out :?

This wedding is my grandson and his girl and the invitation says dress black tie. The ladies have been told definitely no dresses above the knee and should be calf or ankle length.

I'll maybe show some photos, that's if I am allowed to take my camera in and here's a link to where it is being held http://www.flaxtongardens.com.au/home.html

I'm not sure where the invitation is but I have the save the date on the fridge :D

We have our local relay for life happening ATM. It's a 24 hour relay walk to raise funds for cancer research.
I'm doing the graveyard shift. Got here at 11pm Saturday and it is now 4.25am and I have just passed the 30km mark. The footy field we are lapping is half a kilometer around and I'm now on lap 63 :?
Going to be sore tomorrow but it is nothing a hip and knee replacement won't fix :P
