Saw a similar clip on Facebook taken from Gateshead showing the hundreds of vehicles lined up stationary on the bridge. How nobody was hurt is a miracle.

I am more amazed someone was waiting, filming right at the exact moment.
Is there anything, anywhere, that isn't being filmed these days?

If you are not touching any metal part of the car you should not get hurt.

If your in a car you are protected if lightning strikes as long as your not touching metal the reason the car forms a Faraday cage allowing the lightning to travel safely to the ground.

Strange how they only ever share their bad weather with us

When tropical storm Debby was sitting in the gulf deciding which direction to take, bet the headline writers were praying she headed into Dallas, they would of had a field day

There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word, which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

One of the videos was taken from the penthouse of the Swan House roundabout, there was a few lads there taking videos and photos.

The electrician at my place was on the bridge as it happened. He said you just felt an almighty thud going through the van and him. He said people were just looking at each other in shock.
