A Decent Takeaway Curry

Post by Sandyman » Sun Jun 17, 2012 10:29 am

Anyone know where to get a decent Takeaway Curry in Shields nowadays?. There used to be several I knew of but now they're all rubbish, well the ones I've tried are. I don't like Hot, opting for Bhuna or Dupiaza with flavour but haven't had a decent one in ages.

Given your views on non-white people let's hope none of the curry chefs are aware of them or your curry may come with an extra ingredient :D

Try The Curry Center in Ocean Road 01914557561... I get the lamb Bhuna & chicken Dupiaza for my sister and she loves them...plus they have £7 specials :)

Philip, you really need too stop the sniping and cut loose from your grievance with Angry.I’ve met him on a few occasions now,and you may not believe it because of the way he always comes across ,mainly being purposefully belligerent. But to be fair to him thats not really his way ,he’s just a miserable *%^*.

Another thing, theres not a better person too answer the OP

I saw a dark skinned man with a short haircut eating a stew. And I immediately thought of Oklahoma and the song. Curry with a fringe on top.

Phyllis I reckon you need an enema with a Phall curry

something to awaken you to the real world.

-------------------------------------------------------------
Personally I don't know why so many of you Poms are mad keen on curry

it's just something you do to save/use meat that's turning a green tinge
& the curry kills the bacteria.

That's why Indians/Asians have so much hot spicy food .............. no refrigeration.

But you have refrigeration in the UK right?

Most of the curries you get in the UK are not that authentic, they are made for British tastes, most of my years at sea I sailed with Indian crews and we had real curry every lunchtime !

I'm fully behind Jimmy, Spice Central in Frederick Street has some of the tastiest curries I've ever had. I never go anywhere else these days.

If it tastes alright, then who gives a fu##? And if it doesn't stick in your throat, then it won't stick in your ar$e.

Does this rule hold good for all food, or does it apply only to curry? :D
