I started at Horsley Hill that year after doing my two years at Thornholme in Mrs Diamonds class.Happy days then, I think our mothers took us to school for the first couple of days then we just came and went by ourselves.A bit different from today when the little dears are dropped off by car at the school gates and picked up again in the afternoon. No wonder the kids today are so soft.Pilot wrote:I was 5 in 1953 and started Thornholme infants that year![]()
