To much salt is sea sand you need river sand far safer for any building needing cement.

They wash the salt out Global :D hundreds of thousands of tonnes of sand is dredged up from areas off the Humber and in the Wash each year and are discharge in rivers around the UK including the Tyne, the sand is graded and washed before going to the construction industry.
