Ted, I'm surprised to hear that. I don't know why but I had this image of strong beers, lagers, ciders etc being easily available. :?

Over here, it's hard to find anything less than 5%. There are several 'special' ones at 8%, another very popular one at 8.8% and another at 9%

They're mostly sold in 330 ml size cans and cost about 20 quid for a slab of 24. And surprisingly, most taste very good :D
but after you've had a few, you certainly know you 've had a drink. :P

if you go to the bigger citys like oslo or bergan ,then they have a better choice,,you can get all your strong from the wine shops ,but they onluy order in the popular stuff, the super markets only sell beer and cider, well up until 8 o clock in a evening and 6 oclock on a satyrday ,the wine shops close at 4oclock,it can be a bit of a rush on a friday if you fotget to pick up your grogg
