If anyone is interested in looking for something ,which may be available at Auction,let me know and I will keep my eye out for you.They sell Antiques,bric-a-brac,toys,electrical goods,etc,etc just let me know,Sale is on a Friday from 1300hrs,and the catalogue usually available from Thursday am.

Not that I could afford it but I would have loved that pistol for a spot (pride of place) in my museum.

I'll take a shot in the dark, as I have no clue about such.

All prices in pounds...

3000 for the pistol
350 for the bookcase
600 for the harpsichord

Could you confirm if that bookcase has a damaged shelf as it looks in the photo as if its on a large tilt downwards on the right hand side looking at it.

Even at cost for the pistol I would not have a blank for it.

Unless you were an expert at restoring period furniture Sherri. In my opinion that bookcase will be passed in at auction and remain unsold.

Still waiting for the prize from the last one :roll:

Pistol......estimated at 300/400, possibly only made the bottom end.....say 300

Bureau......estimated at 120/160 but should have made a good 200 as this type of piece is always popular/useful.

Harpsichord.....estimated at 450/600, but would only have made 360/380 as they tend to be too big for modern homes and cost too much to repair.
