A day at the seaside

Post by mr-angry »

Being brought up in South Shields by the sea, I thought I'd have a look at Daytona beach to see how it compares.

So, Mr. A how does it compare?

By the looks of those photos you really should save your pennies and take a holiday at Surfers Paradise

Great photos as always Mr A.

 did you notice the David Hasselhoff look alike in the tower in the third photo. He looks bored why didn't you fall off your board so he could rescue you it would have made his day.

Absolutely Rosie, I wouldn't swap Shields beach for all the tea in China.

Wow I am having an awful time trying to navigate these new boards ! Yuck!
Mr. A - you have been to FL already? Sorry I missed you! Hope you had a wonderful time.
I am coming back to Shields for a couple of weeks next Friday. Would love to catch up with some of you then.
I've been so swamped with work lately, that I haven't had time to post or even read the boards!
Hope everyone is well.

Just love seeing the holiday snaps.
Good grief-can you believe they would have a US flag down on the beach??
I would have thought the usual lifesaving flags would have been enough.
Doesn't look like the beaches were too crowded either-Mr A must have gone on holiday at a good time.

Don't you wear hats much over there, our Kis have to wear them at school, in the summer we all have hats on all the time, and the way the weathers been like we will have to start soon again, 17 an its winter, been lovely.

Great snaps there, Mr. A. I'm surprised the beach was so sparsely
populated. Great for you and the kids, though. Looks like your
timing was just right.
