I just have the normal ring that came with the phone. When Carol was in Hospital in December 2005 One of the visitors to the patient opposite Carol the ring tone on her phone was the sound of a Horse Neighing. And to use modern parlance it sounded real cool.

Do you think someone could change my husband's ringtone remotely, Derek? It plays a ridiculously annoying version of Chopsticks and each time I hear it I want to stick a sharp object repeatedly into my ears.

Most of the time my phone's on silent, but when it's not there's geet loads, depending on the caller:
acdc - highway to hell
u2 - mysterious ways
rush - the spirit of radio
peter gabriel - shock the monkey
kill bill chase theme
franz ferdinand - take me out
def leppard - rock of ages

Now wouldn't I be in a pickle if I changed it. At least I know when it rings it's mine. To be honest my phone is so old I can't put other ringtones on but if I fourage around in it's innards the Mexican Hat Dance is in there somewhere.

Have you been down this way lately, then?
I saw a man in a shop the other day whose phone was ringing with that tune.

I don't have a mobile yet but if I ever get one, i was thinking of having somehting unusual, like 'riiing, riiing--riing, riing'.
