I agree Andy, Portsmouth is a great place to spend the day. I was last there a good few years ago but must go again and see the Mary Rose now that the constant spraying has come to an end.

Yes, the British heritage will become far less important as time moves on, but you may find that in the fullness of time whichever culture becomes dominant may not be to the liking of the old colonial descendents - perhaps one where Muslims with their very different cultural traditions and customs call the tune.
So, you've already given up. You are the reason why Great Britain is no longer Great.....nor British.
As your President says about your own country: "We need a wall" and "I'll make America great again." The clear implication being that it is not as great as it was. It comes to us all in time.

So, you have decided to weasel out of the question of the day?

BWAHAHAHA. I thought so,

You make a good servant to the Queen.

Can you say "Yassah Boss"? Everyone who ever worked for George Wallace could......and I'm guessing the Queen also. :P

Although she did know how to change a flat tire...................I would bet you can't.

Yes, that's very much my worry too, ralph.
I think change is inevitable over time, with migration, and a lot of the time changes aren't always bad. Usually a mixed bag.
I think there is a complacency here about the muslim religion in that some think that if the numbers are small, it can't make much difference and 'most muslims are peaceful anyway.'

Maybe so. But in Germany during the war, there were only 8 million Nazis out of a population of 80 million. One tenth of the population. But because they were forceful & fanatical, their will dominated over the other 72 million. Those others swung into line, most of them fairly willingly because it was 'their country', others because they had to.

The trouble with extremism-either nazi or muslim- is it is a mind set, and normally moderate people can get caught up in it or let it rule. We've got a lot of apathetic atheists in this country who will stomp on the slightest hint of Christianity but will defend the right of muslims to all sorts of behaviour in the name of open mindedness, not being 'racist'. Sharia law is being pushed and is already practised in some areas. In time, if we aren't careful, it will be legalised.
