Introduction

Just thought I would say hello and introduce myself
I googled this site when looking for a hotel I will be visiting in a few weeks time (the new crown) for my great aunties 50th wed anniversary
Anyway my name is Mandy (Ridley) my family comes from Newcastle
Wallsend to be exact but I have relatives on the stanhope road
I still support the Toon Army (armchair division of the supporters club)
Im 43 ...we left when I was 6 in 1969 to live in nottinghamshire
I went to the central school for a year
Im related to a family in shields called Wade
Im looking forward to visiting the area and doing some sightseeing
and reminising!!
