I was at Stanhope Road from 1967-69 when we left to live in Leicestershire. I can't remember any of my fellow pupils as old age has caught up with me but can someone tell me if I am right in remembering a teacher called Mr Reynolds. I think I upset him one day and he swung me around by my arm leaving bruises and I walked out of school like a right drama queen.

I was back last weekend and felt quite sad when I saw the changes to the school but I suppose that is what we call progress.
