I knew Grotto Gardens quite well, there was a childrens home on the estate, knew Bobby Clark who had two daughters one was called Joyce.
Alf Joseph who managed the The Golden Slipper Club lived there.

I worked with Christine Maguire at Hintons in Fowler St, not the Nook. She then went to the new store in Queen St which eventually became Presto's or something.

Yeah I used to know his brother Geoff Davidson. This is a snippet from 1985.

September 25

Palestine Liberation Organisation Force 17 commando squad kills three Israeli tourists aboard at yacht in Larnica marina, Cyprus. The three strong group, including Briton Ian Davidson, are imprisoned by the Cypriots.

Lived Grotto Gardens area I think.

It's already on the boards, by Axeman who is a board member, he's the one who posted it on photobucket.

He used to work there, as he said in his post above.

Welcome to the boards Les.
