This ex Redwell kid is doing well for himself..
Alan Richards, one on left in photo.
http://www.publicanalyst.com/html/w_yor ... eting.html
I've just seen him on a Dispatches programme about wine. He's now President of The public Analysts....
Seen a few year ago when I worked in Logistics at S&N Tyne Brewery.
I went upto him and said "Hello Alan, remember me.. Alex from Cumberland Place"
"NO" he sharply replied and turned his back..
Snobby t**t..
I think he didn't want anyone to know that he lived in a bloody Prefab in Cheshire Grove, off Lincoln Road.
You are supposed to remember your roots, not try to hide them you divvy.
He's done well though
Just shows what can be done from low beginnings..

Thats bad manners Axeman ..how fast some people seem to forget there roots ...and how fast it changes them when they get a bit money ..
.
well im meeting up with a few friends from school again tommorow night ,at The Maltings ..
a couple of us met a couple of month ago for the first time ,,and we had such a laugh ,so im looking forward to meeting up again ,,as a few more are coming ,,got back in touch thru Friends United ,,its much better now coz you can message people for free...

What years were you at Redwell anna and do you have any photos from the school if so I would love to see them. I was there when Mr Aitchison was headmaster. I could have went to cleadon but my parents chose Redwell instead, fools. I hated the school but liked most of the pupils in my year. I would be interested in there are any more school reunions going on.

Thanks baldy.smith I had a look seems pretty good. I also had a look on the Redwell School board. some have not had a post for a while but it still brought back a lot of memories for me. I feel as if I know a lot of the people personally who put post on this site.
